London-based Fundraising Executive Gabriella Catolino Appointed Senior Consultant

Global Philanthropic Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of a service-oriented, top executive and mentor to our already accomplished team of consultants found coast to coast to coast. Gabriella Catolino relishes her summer getaways to Italy but calls London, Ontario home. She kicks off her return to Canada with her new role as Global Senior Consultant effective October 1, 2022.

Hitting the ground running, as an established fundraiser Gabriella already has a vast network in the sector with whom she has collaborated during her career spanning over three decades. She is known as a strategic, effective and inspired leader who puts people first and champions the importance of trustworthy and collaborative relationships – something that happens to be a principal value of Global Philanthropic Canada as well.

She has proven herself successful by selecting, instructing, and supporting flourishing teams of staff and volunteers. She is well-versed in complex systems and comprehensive procedures. Her rich experience has resulted in her being both a specialist and a generalist with extensive experience working in healthcare, education, faith-based organizations, and social services. She has worked locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally.

Most recently, she was Campaign Director with the London Health Sciences Foundation. She has also worked with St. Joseph’s Hospice of London, United Way Elgin Middlesex, The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, St. Peter’s Seminary Foundation, YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, and Western University.

She holds a Master of Divinity from St. Peter’s Seminary and a Diploma in Departmental Management from HealthCareCAN. She has also volunteered extensively with many organizations including the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario.

Gabriella is poised and ready to make a difference for her Global clients stating, “The pandemic has had a profound effect on the charitable sector. Being creative and solving ever-evolving problems has become the norm and will continue to propel this sector forward and my work with my future clients. I am excited to dive into my role as Senior Consultant with Global, where individuals and organizations can access my skills and abilities, together with the collaborative spirit of 49 team members, to address your specific and unique needs.”

“I couldn’t be more delighted to welcome Gabriella to the Global team,” says Guy Mallabone, CEO and President of Global Philanthropic Canada. “The combination of her thorough understanding of the London, Ontario market with her solid professional fundraising background, will only mean good things for our clients and the missions they serve.  I look forward to collaborating with Gabriella as she works to bring positive impact to the community.”

While Gabriella has helped raise more than $100 million and counting throughout her career, she is most proud of the significant impact made by the generous donors in the community in which she works, plays, and lives.

This land continues to be home to diverse Indigenous peoples, whom she recognizes as contemporary stewards of the land and vital contributors to our society.
