Joining Global in 2024, Jeff has over 25 years of philanthropic leadership experience. He has served as a university advancement and foundation executive at several of Canada’s leading healthcare and higher education institutions. While serving as CEO of Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation and Vice-President, University Advancement at both York University and Western University, Jeff led teams raising up to $100 million in philanthropic support annually. He is a high-performing team player and executive philanthropy leader with a proven reputation for transformational fundraising results with a strong focus on matching donors’ philanthropic aspirations with the key strategic priorities of impact-driven organizations.
Jeff is a successful campaign strategist with a track record of designing, building and executing comprehensive fundraising and alumni engagement campaigns. In more than two decades of fundraising, he has engaged with thousands of donors, volunteers and staff colleagues. He has participated in and led numerous comprehensive fundraising campaigns totaling more than $2.5 billion.
With a deep understanding and appreciation of the philanthropic and non-profit landscape, he has built and led diverse and effective staff and volunteer teams that have successfully partnered with generous philanthropic donors to make a lasting and positive impact on the community and raised more than $1 billion to address some of the world’s most important societal issues.
Jeff has a wide range of experience to share with non-profit leaders and boards including fundraising leadership and strategy, major and transformational giving, planned giving, donor relations and stewardship, alumni engagement, campaign strategy and execution, volunteer and board engagement, mentoring and staff development.
