Claude Lestage: Quebec’s Newest Senior Consultant

We are proud to announce Claude Lestage as the newest consultant to join the Global Philanthropic Canada family. Based in Quebec City, he has a background in communication and more than twenty-five years of experience in philanthropy, specializing in education, healthcare, social services and faith-based organizations.

“I am thrilled with Claude’s appointment and to have him join our dynamic Quebec team,” says Guy Mallabone, President and CEO of Global. “His significant expertise and deep understanding and appreciation of the uniqueness of key markets will benefit our clients significantly.”

Jean-Nicholas Marziali, Vice President, Quebec adds, “With significant expertise in high-performing fundraising implementation and execution combined with numerous achievements over more than two decades alongside a diverse client base, Claude brings depth to the rapidly expanding Quebec team. He joins a team of five Senior Consultants based in Quebec and completes a service offering that is unique and unmatched in the market, designed to benefit our growing roster of Quebec clients.”

Claude is a well-known expert in planned giving program implementation for organizations and he is regularly invited as an expert to speak at philanthropic conferences and events. He also teaches at the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP).

His journey led him to advise professional organizations and businesses on integrating philanthropy into their practice and culture. His skills are varied and extensive, from Board governance to strategic planning, from capital campaigns to program implementation and planned giving.

“I am confident that Global’s collaborative model provides clients with an unmatched level of philanthropic expertise in Quebec and throughout Canada,” says Claude. “Like me, Global believes in the capacity of organizations to innovate and create linkages allowing for positive transformations in response to the specific societal challenges, albeit within the healthcare system, environment, poverty, arts and culture or education.”
