Holiday Recipe: Mars Bars Squares

This is a simple, tasty recipe for a sweet holiday treat. Bet you can’t eat just one square!

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 12-24 (depends on how big you cut the squares)

Ingredients

Main

  • 4 Mars Bars (chopped into small pieces)
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies


Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup butter


Directions

  1. Melt the chopped-up Mars Bars and butter in a cook pot over medium heat, mix well. Once combined, add the Rice Krispies and mix thoroughly. Press the mixture into a square cake pan or casserole dish.
  2. For the topping, melt the chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once combined, use a spoon or spatula to spread the topping evenly over the entire Mars Bars/Rice Krispies mixture.
  3. Set dish in the fridge for 15-30 minutes. Once hardened, remove and cut into desired number of squares. Enjoy!
