Joining Global in 2025, Pamela Simmons is a seasoned non-profit leader and consultant with over 35 years of experience. She has worked with over 50 organizations across Canada and the Middle East. Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including arts and culture, community services, environmental initiatives, healthcare, education, and Indigenous clients.
Leading with a passion for empowering others, Pamela is committed to fundraising and non-profit management excellence. Her unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on experience, and cultural sensitivity makes her an invaluable asset to organizations seeking to enhance their impact and achieve their philanthropic goals.
Throughout her career, she has developed extensive skills in fund development planning and auditing, capital campaigns—including planning studies, campaign management, coaching and training, major gifts, sponsorships, events, board and volunteer engagement, donor relations, and stewardship.
Her clients have included organizations such as The Winnipeg Art Gallery – Qaumajuq, Alpha House, Agape Table Inc., Volunteer Manitoba, the Better Business Bureau Education Foundation of Manitoba, University of Manitoba, Yellowquill University College, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Children’s Museum, Manitoba Choral Association, Manitoba Eco-Network, Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba, and the Sexual Education Resource Centre (SERC).

Pamela is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, a Master Trainer certified by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, accredited in Public Relations and a Barrett Value Centre Cultural Transformation Consultant. She is a member and former president of her chapter of the Canadian Public Relations Society and the Association for Fundraising Professionals. She served on the inaugural board of the Association for Fundraising Professionals in Canada and is a member of the Association for Donor Relations, where she was a member of the 2024 Conference Content Committee. Additionally, she was the founding president of the Manitoba Association for Fundraising Executives and the Manitoba Association of Volunteer Administrators. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg.
Fun Fact: Pamela enjoys long-distance walking and has traversed the Camino de Santiago from Roncesvalles, France, to Santiago, Spain; the Coast to Coast Walk in England from St. Bees to Robin Hood’s Bay; the Cinque Terre in Italy; the West Highland Way in Scotland; and many scenic routes in the Canadian Rockies and Great Britain.
