Research Profiles: when you have a robust list of prospects but want deeper insights
Ask the right donor for the right amount at the right time for the right program. Engage with your prospects and donors more effectively to maximize funds raised. We offer two types of research:
- Snapshot: 1-3 pages (on average) of basic data and contact info.
- Comprehensive: 4 + pages (on average) of detailed information to help inform strategy development and identify connections.
Wealth Screening: establish inclination and capacity in your existing data
We’ll take your organization’s data by way of a secure portal or file transfer and performs a deep dive. Establish the inclination and capacity of your supporters, including a complete wealth screening report that highlights and explains the makeup of your database.
We’ll also rank your database by qualifying your prospects numerically. The number attached to each prospect takes into account wealth indicators, previous giving, community connections, etc. You can stop there, or you can also have profiles developed for segments of the file, perhaps the top 20, 50 or 100 for immediate activation.
Foundation Prospect List & Action Plan: source funds fast!
Our comprehensive, ready-to-use Action Plan contains 10 – 50 (on average) Private and Corporate Foundations that are a fit for your cause based on historical giving, location, gifts to similar charities, and more. With a shelf-life of about three years, most charities are pleased with how quickly they source funds this way. The plan includes:
- All contact information.
- Any available live website, form or portal links.
- Average and low/high gifts made to your sector.
- Key staff contacts and key decision-makers.
- Guidance on next steps related to ask type and amount.
- Applicable deadlines.
- Customized, actionable insights from consultants who regularly engage with these foundations.
Prospect Identification: bring in more funding and identify new potential funders
Let us identify individuals, foundations, corporations, and organizations who can fill the gaps in your fundraising. We advise who the key contact is, their key focus area and more, resulting in a “net new” increase to your prospect pipeline.
You can request just names or you can add research snapshots or profiles.

“I think Global Philanthropic did an awesome job stepping us back from the campaign launch, refocusing the team and resetting the campaign launch. They looked at gaps in the program and in operations, developed solutions that I think were sensible, highly effective, and respectful to the Advancement Team and TRU, especially given the circumstances. Global got us back to a spot where we could launch it, they added potential donors to our prospect list, they assisted in the search for a new VP External Relations, and they helped to make transition to new leadership absolutely flawless.TRU is better for having worked with Global Philanthropic Canada.”

“Global was with us the whole way. They helped us initiate a chart of standards. Right from the get-go, they are part of that foundation and provided that leadership and those friendly reminders that it was about the numbers from the metrics perspective but, of course, it was the mission of our work that was driving that success. Global really did help us think bigger.”
