Holiday Recipe: “Suburban Restaurant” Pecan Pie (Brandon, Manitoba, 1950's-70’s)
This recipe is important to me because my parents could not afford to dine out as our family grew but once a year they would treat themselves at this very special Brandon restaurant. My siblings and I would get 25 cents each to go to McDonald’s on these occasions. Everyone was happy!
