Joining Global’s team in 2026, Chenai is a Pan-Africanist Social Impact and Equity champion with experience leading impactful programs and projects in Africa, the Caribbean and North America. Prior to her role as the Executive Director of the Black Physicians’ Association of Ontario (BPAO) and Senior Consultant at Global Philanthropic, she worked in organisations like Black Youth Success, Skills for Change and CARE Canada. She sits on several board committees and advisory councils including Ontario Health, York University, the Meta Centre, The Jean Augustine Centre, BORN Ontario, Aga Khan Foundation Canada, African Union, AMREF and the United Nations.

She is a Zimbabwean Canadian who thinks global and acts local by staying connected to global affairs as an Aga Khan Global Leader, STEM Womens’ Congress, WCW Ambassador, and founding member of the Rotary Global Partners in Peace. She is also the G100 Canada Country Chair for Equity and Equality, and the Secretary General of the Global Litigation and Advocacy Network for People of African Descent (GLANPAD).
