Global Philanthropic Canada is welcoming yet another formidable addition to our team of experienced Senior Consultants. Pat Estey is based in Metro Vancouver and joins Global as Senior Consultant as of November 1, 2022. “I am excited to join the Global team and I am ready to utilize my knowledge and experience to maximize revenue generation for the non-profit sector,” says Pat. With 16 years of experience in fundraising, he is passionate about his work in healthcare, social services and higher education.
Most recently, Pat was the Chief Development Officer for PeaceGeeks, a non-profit organization that builds digital tools to empower communities in the pursuit of peace. He has held leadership roles in post-secondary institutions including the University of British Columbia & SAIT Polytechnic. With a passion for community and health, he has occupied senior level fundraising positions at the United Way as Resource Development Manager, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as Senior Development Officer, Major Gifts, and the Alzheimer Society as Director, Resource Development. Pat was also Director, Logistics & Special Projects for the newly elected Mayor of Vancouver, Ken Sim.
Pat’s formal education includes a Masters in Philanthropy & Development, paired with a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation he has held since 2012.
