Global Celebrates Appointment of Toronto-Based Senior Consultant

Toronto-based Jennifer Jones is a powerhouse who is ready to deliver on your organization’s mission. Her engaging commentary and ability to hone in on an organization’s opportunity for financial growth is something that Global Philanthropic Canada is overjoyed to provide their valued clients.

Jennifer joined Global as Senior Consultant with the Ontario team in March 2023. She loves to roll up her sleeves, identify an organization’s pain points and get to work by building an inclusively designed strategic plan and high-performance team that can deliver sustainable culture and structural change – all with the goal of unlocking long-term financial success so an organization can deliver on mission. During the past two decades, Jennifer has been responsible for more than $50 million through traditional fundraising and contemporary cause marketing models to further educational programming, community spaces and poverty reduction services.

Jennifer has worked in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors and has spent time in Asia, Australia and Canada.  Her diverse experiences and increasing leadership roles demonstrates her ability to fluidly transfer her skills and adapt to new cultures and business needs. She is known for scaling and transforming organizations including nine years spent as Vice President of the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation and over five years as President with Toronto Public Library Foundation.

“I’m thrilled to join Global Philanthropic Canada,” says Jennifer. “Consulting is yet another way I can impact more organizations. My experience, especially within the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, means I bring a unique perspective and networks to Global and my clients.”

“Having Jennifer join us is an incredible win for our non-profit clients and partners,” says Guy Mallabone, CEO and President of Global Philanthropic Canada. “Her significant experience with non-profit organizations and her deep understanding of the Toronto market is a welcome addition to our team.  I look forward to working with her to help clients raise more money for their mission.”

“I speak on behalf of the entire Ontario Team and Global Philanthropic Canada when I say that we welcome Jennifer, with open arms, and are thrilled that she has joined our team,” says Dora Boylen-Pabst, Vice President, Ontario and Senior Consultant. “Her commitment to the not-for-profit sector, her depth of knowledge and experience, and her focus on library fundraising, executive coaching/mentoring, team building and events, not to mention her geographic location being downtown Toronto, will help us serve our existing and potential clients with an even wider array of services, both in person and remotely.”

Jennifer has an MBA from The Ivey Business School at University of Western Ontario and a BA in Political Science from McMaster University.

She is offering complimentary 30-minute consultation sessions starting March 1st, 2023. Reserve your session here and learn how Jennifer can work with your organization.
