Joining Global in 2024, Kim approaches each organization with a drive to achieve, a collaborative style, a creative nature, infectious energy, and a genuine approach to relationship building. Kim has a passion for creating positive change – from arts & culture to Indigenous projects to post-secondary institutions, she brings over two decades of experience spanning fourteen years with non-profits and five years as a consultant.
As the Executive Director of Lynnwood Arts, a public art gallery, she spearheaded an ongoing and successful Indigenous Artist Project, collaborating with artists from Six Nations and Mississauga of the Credit First Nations.
Kim has collectively raised over $175 million for non-profit organizations. A proven and successful fundraising professional, with progressive leadership experience, she is adept at stepping in as an interim CEO/Executive Director or Chief Development Officer.
She has a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from Queen’s University and a Master of Music (Performance) from Western University and the Royal College of Music, UK.
Fun fact: Kim was a professional flutist, recorded six CD’s, toured and performed with orchestras across Canada.
