Jim joined Global in 2021. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of capital campaigns and major gifts. He is particularly interested in leveraging digital technologies in the processes of fundraising, recognition, and stewardship. He also has a strong interest in legacy giving and has established several planned giving programs over the course of his career.

Since he began working as a professional fundraiser, Jim and the teams he has worked with have raised more than $100 million for a variety of charitable organizations across Canada. Jim received his CFRE designation in 1998 and is a long-time volunteer and active member of CAGP in Vancouver, where he is a current mentor, a past member of the 2023 CAGP Conference Planning Committee, and a past member of the CAGP Vancouver Executive.

Some of Jim’s current and past clients include Red Sky Performance, UNITI, the National Screen Institute and SOS Childrens Village BC.

Fun fact: Jim and his family live in beautiful North Vancouver where Jim can often be found hiking the trails and peaks of Mount Seymour.
