Celebrated Leader Joins Global as Senior Consultant

Global Philanthropic Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of a celebrated fundraising professional, Adrienne Nolan, as Senior Consultant effective March 1, 2022. Adrienne is based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

A Western University graduate, Adrienne started her fundraising career in Toronto, following a degree in Political Science. She went on to work in Saskatchewan and study at both University of Regina and University of Saskatchewan where she continued higher education in Political and Mandarin Studies.

Adrienne has worked on five major campaigns totaling an astounding $1.9 billion. Her career in advancement is impressive, having led both higher education and health organizations. In healthcare, she was Director, Stewardship and Development at the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation and Executive Director at Royal University Hospital Foundation. In post-secondary, she has been both executive and senior leadership at both University of Regina and British Columbia, giving her an insider’s understanding of the environment. During her time at University of Regina, alumni participation increased by 69% in three years. Adrienne’s style of effective leadership, fundraising success, strategic thinking and change management were particularly impactful at University of British Columbia. As Executive Director at UBC Okanagan, Adrienne built a strong and successful development and engagement program at this young campus.

She is passionate about strategic communication and marketing endeavours for development and alumni relations. She also enjoys being involved with AFP and supporting women in leadership positions.
