November 18, 2019 – Effective immediately, senior advancement professional Ken Crocker joins the Global team as Senior Consultant in the Prairies region. Ken is based in Edmonton, Alberta.
“Ken has had an outstanding fundraising career in university advancement fundraising,” said CEO Guy Mallabone. “He has a deep understanding of what it takes to advance the educational mission. I’m excited about the opportunities this appointment holds for our clients to benefit from Ken’s expertise.”
With 32 years of advancement and fundraising experience, Ken has been instrumental in several successful capital campaigns, raising over $100 million. He led and successfully closed the $25 million Learning Library Campaign at Nipissing University/Canadore College.
Ken honed his skills over 29 years in Educational Advancement at the University of Alberta, Nipissing University and Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Ken received his CFRE designation in 2004. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). He is a past member of Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP).
Ken has volunteered with CCAE as part of their TD Insurance Meloche Monnex Fellowship committee. He has been an active Rotarian, Board member with YMCA and The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound. He was a founding member of both the predecessor of the AFP Chapter and the CAGP Chapter in Newfoundland & Labrador.
Ken earned his B.A. in Recreation Administration (Management and Supervision) from the University of Alberta and his MBA from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
