Atlantic team welcomes two well-known Associates

Global Philanthropic Canada has added significant expertise to the Atlantic team with the appointment of two new Associates: Cathy Manuel and Tina Thibodeau.  Cathy and Tina join Senior Consultant Danielle Boucher in the busy Moncton office.

“Cathy and Tina bring outstanding skills, networks and community connections to the Global team,” said CEO Guy Mallabone. “Our Atlantic Canada team is a powerhouse of fundraising practitioners who are well positioned to build capacity and create more sustainable organizations. Atlantic Canada’s time has come for accessing a world-class fundraising team without flying in people from central Canada.”

Cathy is a founding member of the AFP Moncton Chapter.  She is highly regarded as a community builder and social services leader, particularly working with homeless youth. She has successfully led annual and capital campaigns, raising over $5.35 million for local and regional non-profits. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.

Tina is the former Executive Director of Crossroads for Women, a Moncton domestic violence and sexual assault centre. Over her nine-year term, she led her team in a successful $2.5 million capital campaign and built a new facility. Prior to this position, Tina was the Director of Annual Campaigns for the George L Dumont Hospital Foundation.  Before making the transition to the non-profit sector, Tina had a successful 10-year career in the IT and telecom industry.

Global is delighted to welcome Cathy and Tina to the team.
