Global Philanthropic Canada welcomes the addition of Senior Consultant Barry Knapp to our Southern Alberta office. Barry’s appointment is effective immediately.

Over 20 years, Barry has developed his fundraising expertise in a variety of sectors, including rural community development in Manitoba and healthcare and post-secondary education in Alberta. Most recently, Barry led the University of Lethbridge $100 million campaign team. His previous roles at STARS and Calgary Health Trust engaged him in high caliber capital campaign administration and dynamic volunteer leadership.
Barry was a founding director of the Southern Alberta AFP chapter and served the chapter’s executive over seven years. He earned his Bachelor of Recreation Studies at the University of Manitoba. He is based in Coaldale, Alberta.
