Joining Global in 2023, Barbara has led teams to achieve success by engaging leadership and staff by bringing donors, board members and campaign volunteers together to achieve the organizational vision and strategic plan. Her expertise lies in campaign planning, major gifts, board development, strategic planning, annual and planned giving as well as donor relations and stewardship.  She has helped raise $150 million for campaigns that achieved their vision of creating new centres of excellence, improvements for delivering healthcare, teaching facilities and advancing medical research.

• 30+ years of fundraising expertise with a focus on annual giving, capital campaigns, donor communications, engagement & stewardship, fund development planning, major gifts, philanthropic naming and prospect research, pipeline development & training.
• Primary focus: healthcare and higher education.
• Based in White Rock, British Columbia.
• Fun fact: Barbara followed a lifelong dream in 2010 and moved from Winnipeg to British Columbia.  She loves skiing, golfing and road trips on her Canam Spyder.
