Based in White Rock, British Columbia, Global Philanthropic Canada is proud to announce the appointment of Barbara Moore, Senior Consultant, to the expanding Pacific team. Barbara is well-known in the sector with over thirty years of fundraising expertise making her a natural fit. Focusing primarily on higher education and healthcare projects, she is passionate about raising the bar for organizations and moving fund development to uncharted heights.

Barbara leads teams to success by engaging leadership and staff and bringing donors, board members and campaign volunteers together to align with an organization’s vision and strategic plan. Her expertise includes non-profit management, board development, strategic planning, major gifts and campaign management, human resource planning and all areas of fund development.

Throughout her career, Barbara has been instrumental in helping hospitals and universities raise over $150 million for campaigns creating new centres of excellence, improvements for delivering healthcare, teaching facilities and advancing medical research. The University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, University of Manitoba, Peace Arch Hospital Foundation and Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation have all benefited from her leadership.
Her expertise lies in campaign planning, major gifts, board development, strategic planning, annual and planned giving as well as donor relations and stewardship. She holds a CFRE and a Certification in Marketing and Communications from the University of Winnipeg.
