We are absolutely delighted to announce our new partners in fundraising, the Alberta Museums Association.
We have signed an MOU which invites AMA’s 600+ members across Alberta to work with our national slate of more than 20 Senior Consultants to build capacity and raise more money through philanthropic support.
Through this partnership, members will benefit in a variety of ways:
- Online through Virtually GLOBAL™, our new consulting platform for short projects and fundraising advice. Members are invited to register for one free 30-minute consulting session for your organization, while supplies last. More details are available here.
- Through larger fundraising programs, including annual giving and capital campaign projects. Read more here.
- From our breakout session at the AMA 2020 Conference on Thursday, September 17. Jeff Sodowsky, Vice President Pacific from Vancouver, and Joyanne Mitchell, Senior Consultant from Lethbridge, will present Paradigms of the Pandemic: 10 Tips for Fundraising Success, moderated by Corrie Fortner, Senior Consultant from Edmonton. Read more in the Conference Program here.
- From online webinars on special topics of importance to AMA members. Currently under development, the details of these will be announced in the coming weeks.
There’s lots more to come. To tailor our partnership to the needs of AMA members, we will be asking for their input about their fundraising needs in an upcoming survey.
They will also receive a special discounted price to purchase a fundraising starter-kit in the form of Volumes 1 and 2 of Excellence in Fundraising in Canada.
We are excited about working with AMA members as they broaden their fundraising scope to continue their important work of preserving and promoting Alberta’s history and heritage.

We look forward to working together!
